The Antelope’s Giggling Pastry Shop (Short Story)
Sunlight spilled over the terrace of the pastry shop, while the air was thick with cream and caramel. The townsfolk, still half-asleep, rubbed their eyes only to be startled by the sound of “giggle-giggle” echoing from the corner street.
There, chilly jelly-puffs were bumping into each other, fighting for a selfie with a striped milk-tea. The noise was so loud it woke up the old hen from her nap—she jumped straight into the brawl like it was her weekly fight club.
Just as everyone stood dumbfounded, they noticed the antelope had opened a brand-new pastry shop. A sign at the door read: *“Eat one Giggle-Pastry, and you’ll kick bad moods eighteen streets away!”* Soon, laughter echoed through the whole town, and a long line snaked outside the shop.
