Inspired by true events from June 1778, on the march from Valley Forge to the Battle of Monmouth.

After British horse soldiers raid his family farm, young Elijah is swept into the fight for independence. Traveling alongside the 2,000 women, children, and civilians who followed General George Washington’s army, Elijah sneaks out of the encampment in search of his missing father—a farmer-turned-soldier in the 6th Pennsylvania Regiment, last seen after the Battle of Monmouth.
