THIS IS A DIGITAL PATTERN FILE, NOT THE ACTUAL KNITTED PIECE!
In Greek mythology, Ananke was the personification of destiny, necessity and fate. She was often depicted holding a spindle. How perfect! I feel that she compelled me to knit this shawlette, and a second, and to cast on for moremoremore. Give in to Ananke and knit one for yourself (or a friend)!
