Puget Sound

THIS IS A DIGITAL PATTERN FILE, NOT THE ACTUAL KNITTED PIECE!

This is a shawl with almost endless creative possibilities. Make the small version for a quick one-skein-of-special-fingering-weight-yarn kind of project, and have a saucy kerchief that keeps you looking stylish while warming your neck. Grab a second skein for a luxurious wrap, OR create a gorgeous fade. Follow the original instructions for a piece that features increases AND decreases. Or, follow the updated instructions for a more traditional asymmetric triangle. Whichever option you choose, you'll quickly fall into a rhythm that has you whispering "just one more row…"

YARN
approximately 400 (800) yards/366 (732) m fingering-weight yarn (yarn is held doubled throughout. For the original versions, which include both an INCREASE and a DECREASE section, I used Knitted Wit Pixie Plied in Puget Sound Sunset for the smaller (red and blues) and Victory Fingering in Be Mine for the larger (hot pinks). The INCREASE only version features a fade (see PATTERN NOTES for the details) and is in Knitted Wit Pixie Plied in Litha and Lammas.
