Enchanted Woods Scissor Case and Fob Sewing Pattern
**Enchant your embroidery scissors with this magical scissors case and fob**
A cute, spotted toadstool to hold your scissors and an acorn fob for easy access (and cuteness) is the perfect gift for the seamstress or cross stitcher in your life.
This PDF pattern is easy to download, print, and start making! I recommend using 100% real wool felt or other natural fiber with this pattern--as acrylic felt will fall apart and not come together correctly.
This is a quick little project for beginners and experienced sewists alike!
If you are new to hand-sewing, or need a refresher on these simple stitches, my website and YouTube channel offer tutorials for you (I find these more effective for people learning than written instructions for stitches).
You'll also need some ribbon bits, a tiny button, and--of course--some embroidery scissors! I recommend cutting your felt with embroidery scissors, as they are very sharp and perfect for cutting small corners and precise curves on felt.
Should you want to enlarge the pattern for shears or make it even smaller for other trinkets, you can change the printing percentage in your printer's "properties" settings until you find just the right size. It is already pre-sized for any standard embroidery scissors.
If you want to only print the last page (the cut out pattern itself), type "9" in the "pages" option in your print preview.
With this downloadable pattern, you'll receive:
~Pre-sized pattern ready for printing with labels to parts and number needed for each
~Comprehensive instructions written in "plain English" for beginners
~Color photos for each type of stitch and the more difficult tasks of attaching various parts
~6 pages of close-up photos and instructions
This project takes 1-3 hours depending on your sewing skill, and the kind of details you want to include.
