This is a modern 16-panel over-bust 'plunge' corset pattern. It has a beautiful curve to accentuate your waist - a 3'' reduction on standard sizes. Sizes (UK) 8-34 (US 4 - 30), approx. cup size B-DD. Please note that if you are full-busted a plunge corset will not give great support at the top centre front and spillage at this 'plunging' area can be problematic - attaching shoulder straps (not part of this pattern) will help retain the bust, but it should be borne in mind that the plunge is quite low and moderately revealing. INCLUDES A 25 PAGE DOCUMENT OF CORSET CONSTRUCTION NOTES!
Note – a 2’’ back gap is factored into this pattern. If you would prefer your corset to close at the back, add 0.5’’ (12.2mm) to the edge of each panel 6.
The corset length measures 27.5cm at the centre front (40 cm to the top of the bust apex) and 42cm at the back.
This pattern is drafted in AutoCAD and available as an instant download - you will need to print out on size letter (A) or A4 paper, making sure 'actual size' and 'centre the print' is ticked in your print dialogue box.
It is recommended that you make a toile to the largest of your measurements to check the fit of the pattern – at this stage you can take in the smaller of your measurements, lengthen if need be, and transfer these amendments to your pattern to ensure a perfect fitting corset!
