Meet La’Lani Nichols. Raised on a tight schedule and constantly reminded to stick to the plan. La’Lani graduated at the top of her High School class while being a member of the National Honor Society, Top Ten Percenters, BETA Club, Debate Team, and PreMed Pathway. But she didn’t stop there, her plan continued, and she stayed on the course. By pivoting through undergrad and graduating as Summa cum laude with a PreMed Degree, La’Lani did it all according to “the plan”, but was it ever her plan?
