I vividly remember my first visit to the Badlands on the western side of South Dakota. The land was just beautiful, but the thing that really struck me was the color of the sky. It was absolutely amazing; I had no idea the sky could actually be that blue. The color of this yarn immediately reminded me of that gorgeous Dakota sky.
The Knitologie Glowing Worsted is a super soft, bouncy yarn that just begged to be a snuggly cowl. The cables are completely reversible, so you never need to worry about positioning it to have the right side showing!
Yarn
300 yards heavy worsted yarn
Sample used Knitologie Glowing Worsted (150 yards / 100g skein), 2 skeins in colorway Sea
Tools
Size 10 (6.0 mm) 32” circular (or size required to obtain gauge)
1 stitch marker
Tapestry needle
Gauge
19 sts and 26 rows / 4” in cable pattern, after blocking (cable measures 2.5” across and pattern repeat measures 5” across)
Exact gauge is not critical, but differences in gauge will affect finished size and yarn usage.
Finished Measurements
44” around x 7” tall
