Milford

Milford is a collection of songs and instrumental pieces inspired by Milford Haven, the great natural harbour in Wales where I grew up.

Each track carries my own memories of Milford — the haven itself, the movement of boats across the water, and the changing light I watched from childhood.

Some pieces are purely instrumental, while others tell small stories of the harbour and the life around it. The distant glow of refinery lights at night, the marina, and the quiet presence of the water all shaped these pieces — because they shaped me first.

"Tribute to the Fisherman" honours the fisherman statue that stands proudly on the Rath overlooking the haven — designed and built by our neighbour in Milford Haven, and pictured on this album's cover.
