How to use the past padlet - learn, watch & play quizzes

Welcome to my past-tense car park Padlet. This is where I keep all my digitalised content concerning past tenses. I usually copy over what I need for the current sessions rather than showing my students this Padlet.

As videos lend themselves very well to pre-and post-session watching, I’ve included some explanation videos by well-known English language content creators (it saves you the hassle of looking for them!) about different aspects of the past.

You will also find interactive quizzes I created in Wordwall – ‘How to talk about your weekend’ (2 sets) and ‘What did you use to do when you were younger?’ (2 sets).

To introduce the ‘use to’ form for the past tense, I included a cool song/video ‘I used to love her’ by the Irish band ‘The Saw Doctors’, including lyrics.
