How to talk about the present Padlet - learn, watch & play quizzes

Welcome to my present car park Padlet. This is where I keep all my digitalised content concerning the present tenses. I usually copy over what I need for the current sessions rather than showing my students this Padlet.

As videos lend themselves very well to pre-and post-session watching, I’ve included some explanation videos by well-known English language content creators (it saves you the hassle of looking for them!) about different aspects of the present tenses: Individual explanation videos of the simple and continuous forms as well as 2 comparison videos.

You will also find links to online quizzes as well as interactive quizzes I created in Wordwall – help yourself, a bunch of downloadable role play/gap-fill exercises from pre-COVID times.

Last but not least, there’s a more advanced section dealing with ‘Stative verbs’ and using ‘always’ + present continuous forms to ‘complain’ about things.
