The Art Box 10 Day Feel Good Challenge free download
Ten days. Ten simple creative activities. And a genuinely lovely way to start the day. 🎨
The Art Box 10 Day Feel Good Challenge is a free printable activity booklet for children and honestly, for anyone who fancies giving it a go.
Each day has one simple creative prompt, drawing shapes, filling boxes with colour, sketching a happy place, and one question to sit with. That's it. No special art skills needed. No expensive materials. Just paper, something to colour with, and five to fifteen minutes of making something.
What children (and adults) have said after doing it:
• "It made me feel really calm"
• "I didn't expect to enjoy it so much"
• "It helped me notice things about myself I hadn't thought about before"
• "The safe place one gave me a real feeling of gratitude"
• "Even the tricky bits felt good when I kept going"
What's inside:
• 10 daily pages, one creative activity per day
• Simple drawing prompts that gently explore colour, shape, feelings and imagination
• A question to think about each day
• A reflection space to write one thing you noticed
• A mindful breathing prompt before each activity
• A celebration page at the end
What you need:
• Pencils, felt tips or crayons, whatever you have
• Something to write with
• That's it
Who is it for?
This booklet was designed with children aged 7 and upwards in mind but there's genuinely no age limit. If you can read it, you can do it. And if you have a younger child who needs someone to read it to them, that works beautifully too.
The activities are creative and playful. The feelings side happens naturally, children explore how colours make them feel, what shapes remind them of, what makes them happy, without it ever feeling heavy or like homework.
Because creativity is one of the most natural ways children, and adults, connect with how they feel. The making is the point. The noticing just happens alongside it.
A note for parents:
This isn't therapy. It's not a programme. It's just ten days of simple, creative activities that happen to help children pay a little more attention to themselves.
You don't need to know anything about mindfulness or emotional wellbeing to use it. You don't need to explain anything or facilitate anything. Just print it, hand it over, and let them get on with it. Join in if you fancy it, you might surprise yourself.
