Starry Configurations is a top down, crescent shaped shawl that takes us on a trek through the stars. Inspired by one of my favorite sci-fi franchises, and in yarn expertly dyed by Leon Alexander yarns, this shawl will delight your little Trekkie self. Grab two skeins of fingering weight yarn and get ready to boldly go.
Two skeins of Leon Alexander Countess Fingering, (85% Superwash Merino/15% Nylon, 430
yards/100 grams), in the colorways There’s Coffee in that Nebula and Boldly Go; or any similar
fingering weight yarn with which you can achieve gauge.
22.5 stitches by 32 rows is equal to 4” (10cm) in stockinette stitch after blocking. While gauge is
not critical to this project, it will affect your finished size and yarn used.
Final measurements after blocking: 65” (165cm) wide by 14” (35.5cm) deep at the center
