The Dream That Awakened Me is a triangle shaped shawl worked from corner to corner. It starts with a small amount of stitches and grows as you work. It begins with a simple stockinette section, with some delicate eyelet rows, and a butterfly pattern. The end result is a soft, delicate and feminine shawl that will work well with that beautiful hand dyed “yarnicorn” you’ve been hiding in your stash.

Tippy Tree Yarns Tippy Sock, (75% Superwash Merino/25% Nylon, 463 yards/100 grams), in
the colorway Two Gardens; or any similar fingering weight yarn with which you can achieve
gauge.

28 stitches by 36 rows is equal to 4” (10cm) in stockinette stitch after blocking. While gauge is
not critical to this project, it will affect your finished size and yarn used.
Final measurements after blocking: 56” (142cm) wide by 21” (53cm) deep at the center.
