The Jolan Socks were designed in collaboration with the beautiful and talented indie dyer, Judy, the person behind GigglingGecko yarns. The socks were inspired by nature and its beautiful green colour.

Begin with the standard toe, using the Figure 8 Cast-on method. As far as I know, most knitters don’t like purling, thus the socks were designed to be worked on the wrong side after completing the toe. Just turn the sock inside out, and continue the work in the beautiful Leaf stitch pattern to the heel. Work in German short rows to create the heel, which reminds me of store-bought socks. Proceed to work the leg, enjoying knitting the delicate Leaf stitch pattern again. Finish the socks with the 2x2 Rib stitch pattern and bind off using an elastic method.
