Yumi’s Night Guardian is a dragon ragdoll snuggler designed with plush yarn! This doll features a flat, floppy body and is the perfect size for little ones to snuggle and cuddle. This soft and velvety stuffed animal will turn into your child’s favorite emotional support amigurumi. Make it as an heirloom birthday gift, for a baby shower gift, Christmas holiday present, or as a craft fair / market prep product. This pattern works up well with chenille velvet or blanket yarn.

MATERIALS

Super bulky weight 6 chenille velvet yarn (I used Hobbii Yarn’s Toucan and Toucan Sprinkle)

5mm crochet hook

16mm colored plastic safety eyes (x2)

Yarn needle

Stuffing

Scissors

★★☆☆☆ Familiar Beginner/Intermediate. Requires familiarity with stitches used (below) and changing yarn colors.

STITCHES & TECHNIQUES (US TERMS)

FO = fasten off

ch = chain

ch-sp = chain space

sl st = slip stitch

sc = single crochet

hdc = half double crochet

dc = double crochet

inc = increase (insert 2 sc in same st)

dec = decrease (sc 2 sts together)

FLO = front loops only
