This pattern includes instructions to knit a lacy patterned bodysuit that buttons up underneath the crotch, with a matching bobble hat and bootees. The envelope neck opening allows for easy dressing, making this a practical choice for reborn dolls.

The bodysuit is written for contrast colour edging, although it may also be worked in a single solid colour if preferred.

There is a choice of long or short sleeves, giving flexibility in the finished look.

The pattern is knitted in either 4ply or double knitting yarn, depending on the size you wish to knit. When completed, the finished set will fit 15–22″ reborn dolls.

Please note that this pattern is written specifically for reborn dolls, with a shorter body length. If you wish to adapt the pattern for a baby, the body length can be extended by adding extra rows within the main body. When doing so, ensure you finish on the pattern row number stated so the remainder of the pattern can be followed as written and stitch pattern errors are avoided.
