Not for the faint of heart, especially compared to Metal on Mac . . . but completely doable if you've got the patience.

One specific machine, start to finish — Windows 11, Intel Core Ultra 265K, ASUS Z890-P WiFi, Intel Arc B570 Challenger GPU, 32GB DDR5 — taken from zero to a working Open WebUI + Ollama stack in Docker. Arc gets the job done, believe it or not. Covers why Docker Desktop on Windows 11 depends on WSL2 for GPU access, standing up both containers with persistent data and correct networking, along with the update/troubleshooting steps that won't cost you your data.

Section 4 is the honest part: it flags the two places current documentation doesn't fully answer "successfully running" on this hardware — whether GPU acceleration should happen inside Docker or outside it, and how to tell which one is actually working.
