For the balmer series experiment, I had to graph the wavelength vs. angle and find the wavelength using the angle on the graph. My lab instructor says the units for wavelength are in amps not nm. Then we use that value in to the equation for energy,
, for my experiment 1 = 126 degrees and from the graph my wavelength is 6700. h=4.14x10^-15 eV, c=3x10^8 m/s
so it would be E = (4.14x10^-15 eV)(3x10^8 m/s)/6700 = 1.85. What would all the units be for 6700
