SKILL LEVEL

Advanced Beginner - Crocheters looking to follow this pattern should know how to:

• Read a crochet pattern - There is NOT a video tutorial for this pattern
• Work the basic stitches: Chain, Single Crochet and Double Crochet
• Work in turned and closed Rounds
• Work in Rows
• Create chain spaces and work into them
• Skip stitches
• Place stitches in the side of rows for the border (linked tutorials will teach you, if needed)

This is NOT an absolute beginner pattern! Absolute Beginners (those who have just started learning how to crochet) will find this pattern outside of their skill level.

Advanced Beginners who are familiar with the skills listed above or are willing to learn them shouldn't have an issue following this pattern. Absolute Beginners who are just learning the basic stitches will find this crochet wall basket pattern to be way outside their skill level. The photo tutorial in the PDF pattern will guide you through each step if you need it.

PATTERN INCLUDES

3. Instructions on how to change size, if desired. Keep in mind, if you change the size of this pattern, you will use more or less yarn than listed and your stitch count will be different.

US Standard - Pattern is written in English and will not be translated to any other language. 

SIZE

10.5 inches long (including dowel) by 8 inches wide. 

5.5 inch basket depth.

Instructions to change size are included in the pattern.

YARN REQUIRED

Medium (4) weight cotton yarn. You will need approximately: 3 ounces/ 85 grams/ 162 yards

Yarn Used: We Crochet’s Dishie in colorway Inlet. This yarn is 100% Cotton, 190 yds / 100 g per skein. One hanging basket requires less than 1 skein.

If you alter the pattern in any way, your yarn usage will be different than listed.

TOOLS 

• 4.5 mm (G+) hook 
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Stitch Markers
• Wooden dowel for hanging the basket
• I used 12 inch long, ¼ inch thick dowel that I purchased from Michael's in a pack.
