This raglan sweater is worked from the top down. The first rounds are worked flat to shape the front neckline. The body is worked in the round. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves and worked in the round. Lastly, stitches are picked up around the neckline, and the collar is worked in a 1x1 rib stitch.

This sweater is designed to have 0-10 cm/ 0-4” of positive ease at the bust. Model has a 83 cm / 33” bust, and is wearing a size small with 7 cm / 3” of positive ease. For best fit, choose a size that is 0-10 cm / 0-4” larger than your corresponding bust measurement.


The Ice blue sample is knitted with 2cm / 0.7” ribbing in the neckline,cuffs and hem.

The Dark navy sample is knitted with 4cm / 1.5” ribbing at the neckline, cuffs and hem.


GAUGE

22 sts × 28 rows/rounds = 10 cm / 4” in stockinette stitch on 4 mm / US6 needles after blocking. 


NEEDLES

3 mm (US2.5): circular needle 40-60 cm / 16-24” and 80-100 cm / 32-40” for the ribbing. 

4 mm (US6): circular needle 40-60 cm / 16-24” and 80-100 cm / 32-40” for body.


NOTIONS

Removable stitch markers, tapestry needle, stitch holder or scrap yarn.


SUGGESTED YARN 

You can work the Sweater in a DK weight yarn, or hold 2 strands of fingering weight yarn double to get the DK weight.
