City Incarnation - المدينة كجسد

City incarnation is an architectural/ artistic exploration that investigates the effects of distortions and misusages on the body of Damascus. The book examines current and future architecture projects that allegedly aim to develop the city, we citizens of Damascus doubt think it would. The work in City Incarnation is a result of the work of fourteen architecture students under the tutoring of Iyas Shahin. The students’ projects use artistic narration to depict controversial architectural projects in Damascus. The work was exhibited in Damascus in 2017. (Most text is in Arabic)
