Radio Recordings Sample Pack

This sample pack contains 21 raw recordings, captured using the 'Mini Whip' radio receiver, located at the University of Twente, in Enschede, Netherlands. The WebSDR software allows multiple users to operate and record remotely, across the whole shortwave spectrum, direct from their website (linked below).

Additionally, I have used these raw recordings as source material to generate compelling musical textures. These take the form of 11 dronescapes, with a handful of other atmospheric or experimental sound design nuggets.

As a bonus, I have also included a .cst file for the channel strip setting that was used in the filming of the accompanying video. This channel strip preset will allow Logic Pro users to load the same sequence of plugins, complete with the Smart Control mappings, into any Logic Pro project (not compatible for Logic Pro for iPad).
