Feedback Sound Design
Using feedback loops for sound design is a lot of fun. When combining this workflow with some really creative and great-sounding plugin, things get even more interesting.
The sounds in this sample pack were all created using feedback loops, incorporating a number of plugins by Minimal Audio and a new frequency domain phaser by CRQL into the signal path. The latter is called Uzu, which can impart some very futuristic, spectral effects. Combined with the MA plugins — Wave Shifter, Cluster Delay, Rift and Swarm Reverb — gave some seriously interesting results. Take a listen to the examples in the embedded video, if you want a taster.
The pack includes 9 raw samples and 15 processed samples, with a total run time of just over 84 minutes.
Unfortunately, this pack exceeds the maximum size permitted for free items, so the price is set a £1. Donations are always welcomed.
