1 x Knitting pattern for Something For The Weekend

This is a simple and fun triangular scarf design which is also a quick and good value one skein knit, too! You could complete this project in a weekend, but that’s not why I’ve named this pattern Something For The Weekend. Rather, it's because the pattern captures the feeling of a weekend perfectly!

Suitable for knitters of all abilities, it's ideal for beginners looking for a project with a slight challenge, but is far easier than it looks. And for the seasoned knitter, it's a great box set companion that can also be put down and picked up easily. Just keep a close eye on your stitch count because it's a fairly big cast on! It's a fun, rhythmic pattern that results in a beautiful make that looks particularly good as a bandanna, but can also be worn over the shoulders on a night out. But however you choose to wear it, you'll be sure to have a few versions of this pattern in your wardrobe!

My new go to pattern for a single skein

This has rocketed to the top of my one-skein-wonder list! Just enough stitch variety to keep you interested but not so much that you can't crack on with a boxset. The finished product is a perfect size for a light bandana and shows off a single skein of variegated yarn beautifully without being too busy. Suzanne is really helpful if you need pattern support (my only issues were due to my own daftness).
