Music, Maestro Please!

Here's a gentle and understated solo on a great melody again from Fats' Continental Rhythm session of 1938.

In the original recording, Fats plays the right-hand introduction, verse and ending sections on celesta changing to piano on the bridge. Still, the solo translates perfectly well to piano throughout.

Be sure to listen to the original recording to hear Fats' subtle arpeggiated chords, which no digital software can satisfactorily playback.
