I'm a professional pianist/composer from Sydney, Australia. Over the years, out of pure curiosity, passion and persistence, I've created dozens of transcriptions of some of my favourite piano performances. Predominantly, the performances of the stride piano playing of Thomas “Fats” Waller (1904 - 1943) all of which are available to view on my YouTube channel, noteman.

After many requests, I'm now able to make available downloadable PDFs and Midi files of my videos, to provide in-depth instruction via as accurate as possible, note-for-note transcriptions and keep the spirit of this piano style alive and inspire new generations of pianists to this universally loved jazz piano form.

In many cases, these versions are improvements and indeed corrections on the YouTube videos.
