Believe It, Beloved [Associated Transcription session]

From the Associated Transcription session of 1935, Fats' genius yet again turns a rather banal, twee song into stride bliss. Cuteness abounds in Fats' delicate embellishment of the tune, peppered with bluesy accents.

Fats' playing when he resumes singing is still wonderful so I've included it.

Here are the "notes" as best I can make out, but always refer to the original recording as the ultimate performance interpretation.
