Unicorn Illusion Baby Blanket - PDF knitting pattern
A magical unicorn! When you look straight at the knitting you only see narrow stripes. The unicorn appears when you look from an angle.
The blanket shown was made using white Baby Sparkle Super Soft DK1 as the light colour and Argyll Ziggy DK as the dark colour. It used less than 600 metres of each. You can use any yarn although a different yarn might change the overall dimensions of the blanket. I do not recommend using sparkly yarns for small babies though they are suitable for older children and work well for 'magical' designs.
Illusion knitting is very easy to do. If you can knit stripes you can do it.
The pattern includes three different versions of the chart - one on a single page, another split into four sections and the third for use on hand-held devices.
