Cadwyn Cowl

Cadwyn Cowl is a cosy short cowl made up of a mixture of two and three colour stranded colourwork and a border of twisted cable ribbing at each end. The design is inspired by traditional geometric fair isle patterns and the natural colours of early spring. Cadwyn means “bright chain”, referencing the way that the different colourwork patterns move across the cowl. The cowl is knit entirely in the round and uses 4 colours of DK weight yarn making this an excellent project to use up scraps.
