"Sodapop" Scarf

Loosely knit mohair reminiscent of a vintage sheer scarf. 

Perfect for using stash yarn and small amounts of mohair leftover from other projects! 

The first size wraps once around, the second size wraps twice. 

CONSTRUCTION

The scarf is knit flat from end to end. Size 1 is shown wrapped once, and Size 2 is shown wrapped twice. 

MATERIALS

Lace weight yarn

• 75 y (120 y)
• US 5 (3.75 mm) OR size to achieve gauge:
• for working flat. A variety of lengths are suitable, ie 16” circular needle, or straight needles
• needle for weaving ends

GAUGE

in pattern on US 5: 18 sts x 26 rows stitches = 4”

*Note: while gauge is not crucial it will impact the yardage used.
