Curling Hat

This is a digital file with a pattern to make the hat, not the hat itself.

This curling-inspired toque recreates the view of the house (the bullseye shape featured in the sport) from directly overhead. I've always imagined that these hats would look great viewed by spectators in the second-floor viewing lounge of many curling rinks. Sizes are Small (19-21”), Medium (21-23”), and Large (23-25”).

Low Vision Accessibility: This pattern is available in a low vision accessible format as a separate PDF with the pattern file name in ALL CAPS LVA. It is written in 24 point Arial font in all black text on a white background. All text is left-justified and has no italics. All of the directions are fully written out. This pattern is also screen reader accessible and has been reviewed and tested to work with a screen reader. It does not contain any parentheses.

Uses: worsted weight yarn in the following colours
White – 95-105 yards (87-96 meters)
Red – 8 yards (7.5 meters)
Blue – 16 yards (15 meters)
Black – 60 yards (55 meters)

Small amounts of worsted weight grey and yellow/red/light blue. Sample used Red Heart Super Saver.
