Spring Love - Overlay Mosaic Crochet

Let us celebrate Spring and Love. Spring means the reborn of nature. Flowers and trees bloom and animals find their soulmates and give birth. All is about beauty, love and life.

Spring Love is a relaxing pattern that any crocheters, with any skills, can make. It uses overlay mosaic crochet.

There are 11 different patterns distributed along the blanket. You can play with the patterns or repeats to create a bigger or smaller blanket or to create other house decor itens.

Materials

Sirdar Jewelspun Aran (100% Acrylic); 1 ball – 200 g (500 m) / 7.1 oz (546 yds) - Yarn weight #4 (Aran)

(color 695 / 3 balls)

Sirdar Snuggly DK (55% Nylon, 45% Acrylic) 1 ball – 50 g (165 m) / 1.8 oz (179 yards) - Yarn weight #3 (Light) - (color 0446 / 7 balls)

4.5 mm / US 7 and 5 mm / US H-8 crochet hooks

Note: Sirdar Jewelspun Aran has a loosely spun structure with a slight variation in thickness

Finishing Size

The final size of the blanket is 92 cm x 131 cm (36” x 52”), approximately. 

You can customize the size of your blanket by adding or decreasing repeats of the pattern, but keep in mind that this will affect the amount of yarn required.
