The Varlam Militray

THE ARMED FORCES The military in Varlam is split between the naval forces (Navilarate), the army (Legionari), and the airborne legion (Corvinarate). The military college is made up of a council of the leading ranks of all three forces, with 10 collegiate member for the Legionari, 6 from the Navilarate and 2 from the Corvinarate. Although this seems unbalanced, the internal organisation of the college is not geared around collegiate members voting, but rather acting as an advisory body to inform planning of military operation, which in turn would mostly require ratification by the Senate.
