Bohemian Rhapsody is one of the most famous songs of all time. The images from the video are just as well-known as the music.
The faces are barely visible in the original images so it was particularly difficult to capture the ethereal look in illusion knitting. The knitting is easy.
When you look from directly in front you only see narrow stripes. When you look from the side you will see Queen.
I used Stylecraft Special DK in Black and Silver. I used about 550 metres (600 yards) of each colour, with extra for the border. You can use any yarn. A thicker, or thinner, yarn will change the overall size.
This listing also includes a separate pattern for Freddie, which would be the right size to make a cushion.
