Completed in late April 2026, BROKEN BRITAIN is best described as a social/political history of a nation's decline during the first 25 years of the 21st century, particularly under the Labour Government of Sir Keir Starmer.

The author describes, in 720-plus pages, how successive governments have contributed to Britain's worsening state, specifically citing the authoritative curbing of free speech and expression in a country that is becoming increasingly oppressive. The book explores various aspects of infrastructure, including policing, changes in the legal system, and failures of the National Health Service. The author emphasises how a two-tier system of government has influenced the judiciary process so that normally law-abiding citizens are harshly punished while repeat criminals are often treated with kid gloves and given impunity.

Throughout the book, the author describes how mass immigration, especially illegal (irregular) immigration, is having an undesirable and heavily costly effect on the nation, while successive governments, rather than controlling the borders, appear to be doing very little to quell what many Brits regard as an invasion. Instead of integration, the text describes how mass immigration is having an adverse effect on racial harmony and is causing untold damage to British culture.

Separate chapters deal with the British-Pakistani rape gangs, the loss of trust in the political classes, Brexit and European disunity, the rise in poverty, an unaffordable benefits system, the heavy burden of High-Speed rail, overseas aid, national security and the threats posed by radical Islam, the rise in public protests and the background to the Palestinian/Israeli situation.

On a slightly lighter note, the chapters deal with the MPs' expenses scandal and some historic cases involving the sexual indiscretions, lies and deceit of former high-ranking politicians.

.The book contains a wealth of well-researched material on most aspects of modern British life, much of which is to the detriment of the nation and its people. Thousands of embedded internet links have been included to support the text, enabling readers to discover further information on the many topics discussed and making this a highly informative reference source for students and anyone with a deep interest in British society.
