Fast Paced French crime thriller set in the world of the horseracing circuit. Shady racetrack owner George Dubret has gone missing after his jockey was shot dead. Both the police and a local gangster are after him. Pierre Beauchamp's wife receives some disturbing news from an anonymous caller that may land her husband in jail. The famous french sleuth Jean Jacques Robanier is called in to the unravel the mystery, but can he and police chief Henri La Cloche solve the case before someone else is murdered?
