THE HUMID SPIRIT
This book is, among other things, an attempt to function as that whisper. It is addressed to the thought leader who has stopped being correctable. To the pastor whose congregation has become an audience. To the executive whose boardroom has become a court. To the prophet who has confused their own voice with the voice of God. To the intellectual whose certainty has hardened into contempt for those who disagree. To anyone, in any domain, who has been in rooms where everyone agreed with them for long enough that they have forgotten why that is dangerous.
You need the stars. You need, with some urgency, to be made small again. Not shamed. Not destroyed. Not reduced to silence. Made proportional. Returned to adamah. Reminded of the borrowed nature of the breath in your lungs and the light in your eyes.
