Speaking of Clay- Volume #2
Anatomy of Clay Tools and Equipment

This 17 page resource is great for learning the names of clay tools and equipment.  Labeled images and diagrams will help you and/or your students learn the parts of the most commonly used ceramics equipment and the names of many clay tools. As well it has a page that labels the parts of a vessel, such as throat, foot and shoulder. The pages of this resource can be printed as posters, be used as handouts or shared digitally with students.

The content of this resource can also be also found in my book “Speaking of Clay: A Vocabulary Resource for Ceramics Teachers and Students," which is part of my All About Clay Series.  Four of these books are available in paperback from Amazon and as digital downloads.  Here are descriptions of each resource.

· “Clay Inspiration: 125 Technique Based Challenges to Spark Your Imagination” is technique-based, with chapters on Pinch Pots, Coil, Slab, Melted Glass, and Extruder Techniques and has lots of images to inspire students and artists.

· “Functional Clay Inspirations: 100 Functional Ceramic Challenges to Spark Your Imagination” has over 100 functional artwork ideas and contains lots of inspiring images by students and professional artists.
