Masika is an elegant skirt with cable panels at the front and back. There is slight shaping at the top to make sure the skirt fits nicely around the hips. The skirt is knitted bottom up and on circular needles. The horse shoe cable in the middle is framed by narrow plaits and single cables at the edge. The side panels are stocking stitch. The belt loops are added at the end using a sewing needle to secure them. The PDF knitting pattern includes complete written instructions and diagram with measurements.
