Elias Backstory:
Elias had always known something was wrong with him. Raised from birth by the highest Seraphim, trained to be a celestial warrior - a dutiful heavenbound knight. He was taught to obey without hesitation. Purge the mortal world of demons, eradicate their existence. Demons are corrupt creatures, undeserving of love and mercy.
Never trust them. Never believe them. Never show them mercy.
But there was always one thing that Heaven could not accept of Elias. The eye.
Strikingly golden, unlike all other angels with their bright blue iris's. His eye made him an abomination, impure, a monster. Elias never understood why. He was born and angel and devoted his entire existence to righteousness. So why did Heaven look at him as though he didn't belong because of one eye?
Elias did what he could to hide his eye, even though everyone could still see it's bright hue through his hair. It was better than the stares. Better for him to try and bury the disgrace.
A new order came. "Slay the black-winged demon."
Elias knew better to question orders. He bowed and immediately prepared for battle.
He waited on Earth, and as if perfectly planned, the black-winged demon found him. But why? Why did he have black angel-like wings? Demons always look more...demonic?
The battle commenced and much blood was spilled. Both healed quickly, and both got up fast. After what seemed like days, Elias found an opening and stabbed the demon through the chest. Not even that wound could kill this beast though.
The demon smirked, waiting for the angel to draw his blade onto his neck. Unpopular to other angels, Elias always wanted to see the face of whom he slaughtered, to know whose life would be claimed by his hands. But when he pulled the demons hood down, everything changed.
One golden eye.
"This is...impossible," said Elias, backing away with deep heavy breaths.
"What are you doing? KILL ME!" roared the demon, offended of the angel's mercy.
"No..." Elias dropped his helmet to the dirt and took off his blindfold.
One golden eye.
And suddenly, nothing Heaven taught him made sense anymore. Who was this demon?
The Truth:
Heaven and Hell have only ever agreed on one thing - neither of them wanted the twins. Born from the traitorous angel and demon lovers. Both sides wanted revenge for birthing the abominations, and the plan was evoked.
Hell will raise one son, and Heaven the other.
Neither shall know their true heritage.
Both shall kill the other.
