Malakai Backstory:

Malakai had never questioned what he was. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Since he could remember, he was raised by one of the most elite and merciless demons in Hell. As the Royal Infernal Executioner, he was taught that forgiveness was weakness and compassion was betrayal.

His job - punish those who don't obey. Never question orders and never show mercy.

He'd hunt down escaped demons and drag them back to hell, torture traitors until they confessed, and imprison who deserved eternal anguish in the deepest points of Hell. Do as commanded and never falter.

Until the day arrived when he was given a new order:

"Go to Earth. Eliminate the white-winged angel."

No name, no explanation, and Malakai would never ask anyway.

The angel appeared to have been waiting for him, prepared for their match to the death. The angel was stronger than expected. Finally, a decent match as their blades clashed, blood lust heavy in the air during the battle between Heaven and Hell.

When the angel pierced his sword through Malakai's chest, he knew it was a fitting end. To die at the hands of a being as strong as he. He expected no mercy.

Yet when the angel pulled off Malakai's hood, there was hesitation. A long pause and a deep stare...at his one golden eye.

"This is...impossible," said the angel, backing away with deep heavy breaths.

"What are you doing? KILL ME!" roared Malakai, offended by the angel's pity.

"No..." the angel dropped his helmet to the dirt and removed his blindfold.

One golden eye.

And suddenly, the order he was given didn't make sense anymore. Who was this angel?

The Truth:

Heaven and Hell have only ever agreed on one thing - neither of them wanted the twins. Born from the traitorous angel and demon lovers. Both sides wanted revenge for birthing the abominations, and the plan was evoked.

Hell will raise one son, and Heaven the other.

Neither shall know their true heritage.

Both shall kill the other.
