Clever use of short rows creates a scalloped edge to this whimsical shawl, making it a perfect playground for your favorite colors.
The shawl is worked sideways from the cast on tip to the bind off edge. The pattern includes a photo tutorial for German short rows.

YARN:
Fyberspates Vivacious 4Ply (399 yds / 365 m per 100 g skein, 100 % Superwash Merino):
• 2 skeins MC, shown in 614, Pebble Beach
• 1 skein CC, shown in 606, Sea Green

If you only have 1 skein of each color in your stash, it should be sufficient for making a shawl that’s 5 repeats long instead of 6.

• 395 yds / 361 m CC

NEEDLES:
size US 4 / 3.5 mm circular needle

NOTIONS:
row counter
2 different stitch markers
tapestry needle to weave in the yarn ends

GAUGE:
21 sts and 47 rows in Garter stitch = 4” / 10 cm
Gauge is not crucial for this project but will affect the amount of yarn used and the final size of the shawl.
