Grace That Slays the Giant
The battle is the Lord's.
A shepherd boy stands before a giant in armor, with nothing but a sling and five smooth stones. This paper opens 1 Kings 17 slowly, asking what David's victory actually rests on, and what it means that Goliath falls not to greater strength but to grace working through weakness offered freely.
David is read as an echo of a greater deliverance still to come: Christ, who meets the true giants of sin and death unarmed by the world's measure and slays them by the very thing the world calls foolishness. The paper asks, gently but directly, what Goliath stands in your own path, and what stone grace is asking you to carry.
