Tipped Square Sock Motif

When you need a pattern for your favorite vanilla sock recipe, these tipped squares (totally not diamonds!) are ready to tumble onto a variety of sock sizes and yarn weights!

• Designed for sock knitters who have a set of favorite toes and heels, a preferred gauge for their best fit and are looking for fun patterns to plug into their personal sock recipe.
• This pattern does not contain detailed toe, heel and cuff directions.

Pattern specs

• Written and charted directions for the Tipped Square Motif
• Directions for 9 stitch counts of socks, motif scaled for stitch counts
• Stitch counts (circumference): 44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 64, 68, 72, 76 stitches
• Stitch count for front of sock only (chart width): 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38 stitches
• For toe up and cuff down socks
• Cable directions explained with and without a cable needle

Printing tips

Scroll through the pattern before you click “print all” as you probably do not need all 28 pages! There are charts and written directions for 9 sock stitch counts. To reduce the number of pages to print, look for the chart or written directions that match your sock stitch count.

• Just the chart for 60 stitch socks: print page 16.
• Complete pattern details for 60 stitch socks: print pages 1-2, 3-6 and/or 7, 16 and/or 17 and optionally 28.
