The game first. One d20, four quarters to a match, about five minutes to play one. Every team is three numbers, every modifier is pre-calculated, and nothing gets worked out mid-game - you roll and you read. The core set carries the complete 2025 NFL season, rated from opponent-adjusted figures, plus the Metro Football League: a fictional 32-club league playing its fiftieth season, with no answer printed in the back.

Then the decade. The Seventies adds every NFL season from 1970 to 1979 - a one-page ratings sheet and a full schedule book per season, every game a single row with both modifiers already worked out, from the perfect 1972 Dolphins to the arrival of the 16-game schedule in 1978. A decade standings sheet carries both real playoff formats, and ties are in play all decade, exactly as they were.

And when the real seasons run out, the game keeps going. Book 8 turns any league's results into ratings from nothing but points scored and conceded - college, high school, something from ninety years ago - with five era scoring tables so a 1935 side scores like 1935. Book 9 adds high school football: school and town generators, four-year campaigns, graduation drift, eight-man rules. Book 7 rolls whole leagues that never existed.

Three browser apps come with it, all offline, nothing to install: one plays the game with animated dice and a commentary, one prints team cards nine to a page, one builds custom scoring tables.
