Lesson 13 Boundaries

When Adam and Eve left the Garden, God placed angels and a flaming sword to block the way back. This wasn't

God being mean; this was a Boundary. Boundaries exist to protect us, to protect others, and to keep us safe.

Children have boundaries (like bedtimes and holding hands in parking lots). Adults have boundaries (like speed

limits and locks on doors). God sets boundaries to keep our hearts safe from permanent damage. We always have

the choice to stay inside the boundary, or step outside it - but stepping outside removes the protection!
