HANDBALL ATHLETE PROGRAM — 6 Weeks to a Stronger, Faster, More Explosive Season

Built by a coach who plays the game.

You don't need another generic gym plan. You need a system that turns strength into speed, speed into power, and power into performance on the court — built specifically for handball.

The Handball Athlete Program is a 6-week, structured strength, plyometric, and conditioning block designed by Gabriele Iachemet — physical preparation coach and professional handball player — in collaboration with Juan Manuel Bendini, Serie A handball player.

Available in Italian, English, and Spanish.

This isn't theory borrowed from another sport. It's built from inside the game: the explosive first step, the repeated jumps, the fatigue-resistance a full match demands, and the injury patterns that end seasons early.

WHAT YOU GET

  • 6 full weeks, progressively structured — not random workouts, a real periodized block
  • 4 sessions per week: 2 strength + plyometrics, 2 running/conditioning
  • Clear progression logic: load increases 5–10% only when technique is clean — no guessing, no plateaus
  • Injury-resilience work built in: Nordic hamstring, Copenhagen plank, single-leg stability, isometric wall holds
  • Full warm-up protocol with mobility drills for hips, spine, ankles, and shoulders
  • Exercise legend and technical notes so every session is executed correctly, not just completed
  • Available in Italian, English, and Spanish

WHO IT'S FOR

Handball players (and team-sport athletes generally) who already have a base of gym experience and want their pre-season to actually translate to the court — more force, more vertical, faster reaction, and the capacity to hold intensity for a full match, not just the first ten minutes.

This is not a beginner program. It's a plan for athletes ready to train with intent.

WHY IT WORKS

Every session is built around one principle: technique first, then speed, then load, then progression. Plyometric work develops reactive strength and jump output; the strength track builds the force base that plyometrics convert into power; the running sessions build the aerobic and repeated-sprint capacity that lets you use that power for 60 minutes, not 6.
