Vim has been the editor of choice for power-developers for decades, but it's always had an ethos of being hard to learn and harder to configure.

No More!

The LazyVim distribution has crafted a delightful and powerful out-of-the-box experience that is on par with any modern IDE. Configuration is either unnecessary or simple.

That takes care of the "configuration" problem, but in order to use LazyVim effectively, you must first know how to use LazyVim.

This book was written for developers who want to ramp up on modal editing with Neovim. It is approachable and digestible, but most of all, it is comprehensive. It collects tips and tricks gained from over two decades of using Vim, and is written with the gentle humour Dusty Phillips brings to all his work.

With this product lising, you are purchasing a premium hard-cover print edition of LazyVim for Ambitious Developers with full-colour interior.

Splendidly written content, sturdily bound hardback...

I started reading LazyVim for ambitious developers online, but I kept losing my place. However I do much prefer actual books and quickly ordered it.

I'm enjoying Mr Phillips' explanations, and shared idiosyncrasies. Thank you. However, the book is quite sturdy and the font easy to read (let's just say I'm in my 50's, with glasses, but the font and layout make for easy reading).

Especially with material of this ilk, I like taking notes. Not impossible to do with online content, but ever so simple with book in hand. My apologies, early, Mr Phillips, I plan on marking this book up with pen, pencil, and highlighter. I expect it will be a valuable resource as I continue my journey with LazyVim, and Neovim in general.

Lovely Companion Book

The print version of this book is a lovely companion to the web version. The design, feel, and size of the book is perfect. Not to mention it is also a great way to support the author.
