Hello, I am Oliver Züger.
I work as a professor of psychology and as a commercial airline Captain.
My work focuses on psychological stability, decision making, and performance under pressure. It is grounded in academic research, including a PhD in psychology, and combined with real world experience in high responsibility environments.
In aviation, I operate and teach in settings where consistent performance and precise decision making are critical. This experience shapes the way I approach my work, with a strong emphasis on structure, reliability, and practical application.
Through this work, I developed the PSI framework, Personal Stability Index, a structured model that explains how factors such as resilience, mindset, purpose, and stress interact to influence stability and performance.
